Kumiay Friends, San José de La Zorra, Mexico (1½ hour south of US border)
The project was formed in 2017 while Olav lived in La Mision. The project successfully lead to a Grand Cultural Event, start of a Recycling Factory and engagement of the local indigenous community. Olav stepped out and put the project on hold when politicians and NGO people got involved and bend the project away from its original intent.
The project grew and became a very complex set of people with different ideas, interests and people involved. Some of the presentation material can be read http://evesgarden.info/kumiay-project-rural-living-as-in-the-old-days-seeks-international-friends-on-waste-sorting-water-conservation-recycling-ecology-ridesharing/
The scope of the project is illustrated in this Prezi Presentation: https://prezi.com/s0wkkxzpmcet/eve039s-recycling/
